ingredients:

  • 3 Oreos/chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1 tbsp softened butter
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1.5 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • crushed oreo pieces

instructions:

the cookie base:

  1. Place the Oreo cookies in a zip lock bag and finely crush them with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix the softened butter with sugar (optional, because the Oreos are already sweet), before transferring the crushed Oreos into the same bowl and mixing again.
  3. Mix in the egg yolk, then add in baking soda and flour. Fold until a homogenous dough is achieved.bake the cookie:
    • Air Fryer Method: Air fry at 325°F (165°C) for 8-10 minutes. OR
    • Oven Method: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes.
    • Let the cookie cool completely.
    cream cheese frosting:
  4. In a bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese with vanilla extract and powdered sugar.
  5. Once the frosting is light and airy, transfer it into the bag used to crush the Oreos.assemble:
  6. Pipe the cream cheese frosting in a spiral onto your cooled cookie.
  7. Top with crushed Oreos and rainbow sprinkles, and enjoy!
